Masterthesis: Realtime virtualization of optical human motion capture*

YOUR TASKS:
  • Quantification of human motion using optical motion capture technologies
  • Benchmarking of hard- and software, especially neural networks
  • Kinematic animation of human models in a virtualized industrial environment
  • Visualization of kinematic animation with methods of augmented reality
  • Working autonomously on a sub area
  • Working in an augmented reality and robotics lab
  • Embedded in a cross functional team of experienced developers

YOUR PROFILE:
  • Studies in computer science, robotics, mechatronics or comparable course of study
  • Successful completion of relevant study projects or work in the lab is of advantage
  • Knowledge of C++ and Python
  • Confident use of Unity and OpenCV
  • Knowledge in the fields of computer vision and artificial intelligence as well as neural networks
  • Knowledge of JavaScript and node-red, IIoT protocols like MQTT, ROS/ROS2 and Inverse Kinematics as well as Vuforia is of advantage
  • Independent and structured way of working
  • Teamworking and communication skills
